Nope

I told myself I wouldn’t make it. I told myself it was OK. I told myself I wouldn’t be disappointed.

But I totally am.

I missed my 100-pound milestone today by less than half a pound.

It’s OK. I’m not disappointed.

I’m such a liar.

I struggled last week and gained a little. I had to process all my feelings about camp (I’m going to write more about that later in the week) and I have worked hard to get back on track. I knew if I made it today, I would JUST make it. But I didn't.

I’m sorry. I feel like I’ve let a lot of people down. I let myself down, too.

For now, here’s hoping I don’t gain next week.

Do not beat yourself up over missing your goal. Be sad for a bit and then pick up those bootstraps and jump back into the present. So you achiever your goal a week later than planned - so what? What if you never set the goal in the first place?! You are awesome. I love your blog.

You are SO CLOSE, E! In my experience, guilt weighs at least 5 pounds. :-) Let yourself off the hook sweetheart, and just keep envisioning all of your cheerleaders (like me) that believe in you! You can do it. More accurately: You ARE doing it!

DONT BE SILLY! Never in a million years would anyone consider you a let down in any way. We love you to pieces and every week we look forward to seeing you not your accomplishments. xo

Honey you haven't let anyone down. So it will take another week (or two). So what? I'm close to a milestone myself (nowhere near yours, but still) and I can't seem to get there. It's frustrating to say the least. But you will get there, I know you will.

Love you! You will make it. Just keep keeping on! I too have found myself in a rut, but I refuse to give up. You will get there, and I will too!
Thank you for always inspiring me. You are the reason I started on this journey in the first place... I just can't thank you enough!!! I can't believe I've been doing this for 6 months all ready! The time has flown by, and so has the weight. (42 pounds and counting...)
Talk to you soon!

You keep your head up and keep on plugging away!

You have inspired me to lose 20 pounds, Erika...and I have learned not only from you, but now through my own experience, that this weight loss thing sure has it's plateaus....

Keep it up, you are doing great!

Reading your blog does two things for me. It makes me feel like I'm not alone in how difficult it is to lose weight. It also makes me understand that I don't have to be perfect to eventually get there. How can you say you have let me down by not quite reaching your goal. If anything, you have inspired me to continue plugging away.

E - do you realize that the underwire in your bra weighs more than a half a pound? Or lipstick? or ONE sock? hell, probably the stitching in the sock is more than 1/2 a pound!!
You my friend are a freaking ROCKSTAR! AN AMAZING, EXTRAORDINARY, BEAUTIUL ROCKSTAR!
(ps, one that has not let anyone down!)

No letdowns here! Just think about how much MORE you will appreciate getting to that 100 mark now that you had a disappointment right before it. It's just going to mean that much more. You have so much to be proud of. We love you!
