C-note

What does losing 100 pounds mean? It means I:

• Can actually follow through when I set my mind to it.

• Can cross my legs comfortably.

• Am able to shop in regular stores.

• Actually look at myself in mirrors (even full-length ones sometimes!) every once in a while.

• Am stronger than I thought I could be.

• Have more support than I ever knew in my friends, family and co-workers.

• Have the potential to live a longer life. Definitely a fuller one.

• Can finally burn this weigh-in outfit I’ve worn every Tuesday since I hit my 50 pounds.

• Am open to adventures and possibilities I never knew I could have.

• Am finally free to be the person I’m meant to be—without my addiction holding me back.

I’m not done, y’all. I have a way to go. I’ve said it a million times, but there is no way I could have gotten this far without all of you. Whether you are my friend, my family member, my co-worker or someone who knows me just through this blog, you have CHANGED me. Forever. I’m so grateful to all of you for being part of my journey.

25 pounds. Guess I wasn't ready for my close-up?

Hi Erika,
I've been following your journey along side my own "get healthy and happy journey." My personal goal is 50 lbs which is so close I can taste it...pretty sure it's going to taste like chocolate cupcakes ;) It has been without a doubt a hard journey with tons of cravings, lots of sweat, and even more one foot in front of the other moments which is why I am sooooo unbelievably happy for you! I love your blog, love your smile, and LOVE your success!!! Keep going with pride because you are amazing, motivational, and smokin'!!!

Erika-

Great job,

I love how you listed all the things you can do now that you couldn't do at over 300.

Add to your list:

Sitting in booths

Wearing pretty undergarments

Fitting in amusement rides

Fitting comfortably in airplane seats

Not being the fattest person in the room all of the time

Keep adding to your list. You have done amazing work. You continue to inspire so many people.

Kudos!

Congrats Erica! Through a little jealousy, I started my own trek through WW hoping to make my own goal (140 pounds to lose). I have almost hit 10% and your success helps to give me the strength to continue! Thanks for ryour inspiration!
